Horace Berryhill, 72, a native and resident of Larose, died Sunday, May 18, 
2014. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at New Mount Zion 
Baptist Church in Larose. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in New Mount Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Larose. 

He is survived by his daughter, Felicia (Charley) Thibodaux, of Houma, Wanda 
(Michael) Fontenot, of Houston, Texas, Sandra Berryhill, of Gray, and Valerie 
and Beatrice Berryhill, both of Houma; sisters, Lois B. Newbold, Yvonne B. 
Gayle, and Mary B. Andrews, of Larose; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elzina Berryhill; parents, Hazel and Mack 
Berryhill Sr.; brothers, Cornelius Berryhill and Mack Berryhill Jr.; and 
grandparents, Mariah and Jesse Berryhill, and Cornelius and Thelma Granger.
