Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1405.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Roy Joseph Breaux, 82, a native of Bayou Black and resident of Houma, died at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lena Mae Landry Breaux; son, David Anthony Breaux and wife, Darlene Henry Breaux; grandsons, Aaron and Jacob Breaux; great-grandson, Jackson Breaux; brother, Ray Breaux; and sister, Lea Earl Bergeron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Breaux and Stella Trahan Breaux; brother, Albert Breaux; sister, Marion Breaux Trahan and husband, Alton Trahan; sister-in-law, Aline Breaux; and brother-in-law, Raymond Bergeron. Roy was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He proudly served his country as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and also enjoyed some of that time playing football for the Army. He loved his family and bragging about his great-grandson, Jackson. He loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting and gardening, and with his green thumb, he fed lots of people. The family would like to thank Dr. Jules Dupont, Hospice of South Louisiana and Bayou Home Care. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements. U.S. Army ======================
