She was a native of Theriot, La and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 9:00AM until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Brunella Duplantis Brunet and husband Raymond; grandchildren, Suzanne Duplantis Adams, Christine Brunet, Michael Brunet, Janet Brunet, Carolyn Brunet Town, Raymond Brunet Jr.; twenty one great grandchildren; thirty great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Filmore Duplantis; parents, Luc Falgout and Lelia Chauvin Falgout; step mother, Eva Vice Falgout; son, Philmore Duplantis; grandson, Barry Duplantis; brothers, Lester Falgout, Ambrose Falgout; sisters, Emile Smith, Olive Thibodeaux, Louise Vice, Cecile Martel Ethel Ann Roddy, and Marie Theresa Falgout. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. Lelia enjoyed traveling, playing cards, fishing, cooking, and most of all family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She touched many people's lives and left an amazing legacy. ======================
