DUPLANTIS, NADINE (DODGE) SHEPHARD

Nadine Dodge Shephard Duplantis, a native of Carmi, Illinois, and resident of 
Rockport, Texas, died Saturday, May 3, 2014. 

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Garden of Memories Cemetery 
in Gray. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church 
in Rockport, Texas. 

She is survived by her son, Glenn (Sue) Shephard Jr., of Shreveport; daughters, 
Rebecca (Kerry) South, of Antonio, Texas, Donna (Rick) Rominger, of Destrehan, 
Cynthia Ressler, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Angela Domengeaux, of Corpus 
Christi, Texas, and Jennifer (John) Jenkins, of Rockport, Texas; brother, Billy 
(Barbara) Dodge, of Carmi, Illinois; sister, Donna (Bill) Ward, of Carmi, 
Illinois; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn C. "Red" Shephard and Lindsey 
Pierre Duplantis; parents, Truman and Myrtle Proctor Dodge; brother, Bobby 
Dodge; and sister, Betty Jean Dodge. 

Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
