Elaine Foret, 77, a native and resident of Chackbay, died Monday, May 12, 2014.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 
8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church 
in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the 
church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Chackbay.

She is survived by her son, Ulysse "Joey" Simon and fiancee, "Mindy"; son-in-
law, Joseph Guidry; brothers, Daniel Clement and wife, "Nellie," and Tommy 
Clement; sisters, Janice Himel and husband, "Chuck," Carolyn Roy and husband, 
"Johnny," and Theresa Barrilleaux and husband, "Kent"; grandchildren, Bennett 
Nuccio, Cammie Simon and fiance, Dustin Hernandez, Jonathon Guidry, Kelli 
Guidry, Taylor Dorsey, Cierra Dorsey, and Alexis Dorsey; and great-grandchild, 
Esaias Borne.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Remy Simon Jr., William Larrabee, 
and Norris Foret; parents, Harry C. and Vivian "Mim" Clement; daughters, Anne 
Nuccio, Donna Simon, Linda Simon, and Debra Guidry; brothers, Eldon "Plucker" 
Clement and Melvin Clement; and grandson, Blake Borne.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
