Jessie Gros Sr., 71, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Labadieville, 
died Friday, May 2, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Philomena 
Catholic Church in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in at St. Philomena Catholic Church cemetery in Labadieville. 

He is survived by his son, Jason Gros; daughter, Dawn Gros; brothers, Allen, 
Ronnie, and Paul Gros; sisters, Evella Ordonyne, Shirley Sanchez, Gail Prejean, 
and Una Terraciana; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Gros; parents, Chester and 
Josephine Gros; and son, Jessie Gros Jr. 

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
