Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in Chackbay. She is survived by her nephews and niece, Donald Gros, Alton Gros Jr. and wife, Geraldine, and Janes Champagne and husband, Brian; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and a special great niece, Bernadette Lanata. Lizzie joins her beloved sister, Malvina Gros, in the heaven of eternal rest and is rejoicing with her parents, Willie E. and Veronique Benoit Gros; brother, Alton E. Gros Sr. and wife, Marie LaForest; niece, Sally Ann Gros Vedros and husband, Wilton; niece-in-law, Mary Ward Gros, in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Special thanks goes to the Zeringue and Berry families and the caregivers and sitters, for the wonderful care and friendship given to Lizzie. Luling Living Center employees had a special place in Lizzie's life as they cared for her during her final years. Thank you.
