Johnell Jackson, 83, a native of Four Corner's and resident of Baldwin, died at 
12:12 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Baldwin. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church with the rosary being recited at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at 
the church. 

Burial will be in Sorrel Community Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Nell Connor Jackson; sons, Larry J. (Debra) 
Jackson, Michael W. (Su) Jackson, Russell Alexis, Lance Washington, and Jarrod 
Washington; daughters, Janice J. (Percy) Key, Catherine (Joseph Wells) Charles, 
and Sharetka Polidore; brother, Paulfrey J. (Leona) Jackson; 18 grandchildren; 
33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Able Jackson Sr. and Mary Rose 
Matthews Jackson; sons, Caster D. Jackson and Johnell Jackson Jr.; daughter, 
Linda L. Mitchell; brothers, Abel Jackson Jr., Cleveland Nathaniel, Clemus 
Jackson, and Benjamin Jackson Sr.; and sisters, Mary Bella, Clementine Jackson, 
and Thelma Jackson. 

Jones Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
