Artelise R. Lafont, 92, a native of Galliano and resident of Kenner, passed 
away Thursday, May 22, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Holy Rosary 
Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. 
Wednesday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano. 

She is survived by her sons, Dennis J. Lafont and wife, Lori, and Jody J. 
Lafont and wife, Robin "Buffy"; grandchildren, Andrew, Madeline, Alyse and Ross 
Lafont; and brothers, Paul and Don LeBoeuf. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert J. Lafont Jr.; son, Russell J. 
Lafont; mother and stepfather, Artemise E. LeBoeuf and Caliste LeBoeuf; father, 
Leneas Rousse; brother, Jack LeBoeuf; and sister, Janavee Pitre. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
