Beatrice B. Mire, 85, a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of the St. 
Charles Community, died on May 8, 2014.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Monday, May 12, 2014 at St. 
Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 
at 11:00 AM Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 

with burial to follow in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Mona M. DeFelice and husband Dave DeFelice, 
Jr., Beth Mire Dufrene and husband Patrick Dufrene; granddaughter, Gaynell 
Dufrene Broussard and husband Joshua; grandson, Mark Mire Dufrene; and great 
grandchildren, Jaden Elizabeth Broussard and Alyssa Marie Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Paul Mire; parents, Paul and 
Corinne Bourgeois and brother, Carl Bourgeois.

She was a fifth grade teacher for the Lafourche Parish School System for 25 
years and a graduate of Southwestern Louisiana Institute in Lafayette. She was 
also a 4-H Club leader and religion teacher for St. Charles Borromeo Catholic 
Church for many years.

She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and 
teacher.

The family would like to thank The Broadway, St. Catherine Hospice and Debra 
Blanchard for the wonderful care given to her.
