Vance Philip Morvant, 41, passed away, May 5, 2014, a resident and native of 
Chackbay, LA. 

Visitation will be from 8AM until funeral time Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Our 
Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will begin at 10:30AM, 

with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in 
Chackbay.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Dugas Morvant; sisters, Tisha Bryant and 
husband Steve and Tania Blanchard and husband Shane; nieces, Kristen Morvant, 
Lanie Dufrene and Stevi Stillinger; nephew, Laden Blanchard; great-nieces, 
Madelyn and Adaleigh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vertis Philip Morvant.

He enjoyed fishing and gardening, as well as spending time with family and 
friends.
