"Sukie" Naquin, 71, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, died Sunday, May 18, 2014. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Donaldsonville and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Donaldsonville. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Abend. She is survived by her son, Michael (Dennise) Wooden, of Killeen, Texas; daughters, Lynda Jarvis, of Gonzales, and Katina (Brandon) Pierson, of Prairieville; sisters, Marguerite Wooden, of Avondale, Alice and Gertrude Wooden, and Mary Ann Perkins, of Donaldsonville; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junious Naquin; parents, Oscar and Bessie Wooden; and brother, Oscar Wooden Jr. Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Donaldsonville is in charge of arrangements. ======================
