Farrell Paul Ponvelle, 48, a native and resident of Chackbay, LA, passed away, 
Monday, May 5, 2014. 

Visitation will be on Friday, May 9, 2014 from 8AM until funeral time at Our 
Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will begin at 10:30AM, 

with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in 
Chackbay.

He was survived by his brothers, Lloyd Ponvelle, Jr. and wife Melanie and Allen 
Ponvelle and wife Pam; sisters, Barbara P. Gilfour and husband Mikes and 
Jeanette P. Trosclair; 10 nieces and nephews, as well as, 13 great-nieces and 
nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd, Sr. and Lillian Benoit 
Ponvelle; nephew, Adam Gilfour.
