He was a native of Lutcher, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. He was survived by his daughter: Angela R. St Germain, sister: Marlyn R. Ruttley, nephew: David Ruttley, and his life long friend and companion Judy Belanger. He was preceeded in death by his parents: Adam Robichaux and Olivia Belanger Robichaux, sister: Quintella R. Hoover, brother-in-law: Ray Hoover, and nephew: Aaron Timmy Ruttley. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a Vietnam War veteran. He was a proud member of the American Legion: Russel Redmond Post 272. He was a 30 years veteran with the Houma Police Department as a patrolman. He also served with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriffs Office as a detective and Houma City Marshalls Office as a sergeant in the Warrant Division. He was a 27 year Heart Transplant recipient. He loved cooking, grilling and visiting with family and friends. The gives special thanks to Fresenius Dialysis, all the nurses and technicians, Dr. Chassion, Dr Modizette, Dr. Vander, Dr. Desai, the RCIA Team and St Joseph Parish in Chauvin for all the prayers and support, especially Monsignor Brunet.
