Donald "Black" Robin, 56, a native and resident of Dulac, died Friday, May 23, 
2014. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of 
Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. 

A private burial will be held by the family at a later date. 

He is survived by his spouse, Loretta Rogers Robin, of Dulac; grandson/son, 
Riley Nelson, of Dulac; son, Dylan Nelson, of Dulac; daughters, Amber Nelson of 
Dulac; Kaelin Nelson, of Dulac, Gina Robin, of Thibodaux, and Leah Robin, of 
Thibodaux; brothers, Ronald Chris Billiot, of San Diego, California, T-Lee, of 
Breaux Bridge, Malcom, of Texas, and Bradley, of Breaux Bridge; sister, Debbie 
Porrovecchio, of Boutte, Jessica Billiot Manuel, of Metairie, and Jennette, of 
Jeanerette; grandsons, Riley and Michia; and granddaughters, Jazlyn and 
Victoria. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Lee Robin and Gerti Ann Solet 
Manuel; and sister, Harriet Dupre. 

Donald was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. 

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to any charity. 

Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
