Elmire "Ma Ma" Cheramie Rousse, 88, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, 
died Monday, May 19, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time 
Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Cheramie Cemetery. 

She is survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, 
Aglaie "LaLay" Cheramie Adams and Edna Cheramie Duet. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Joseph Rousse; sons, Forrest 
Rousse Jr. and Danny Rousse Sr.; parents, Theodore Cheramie and Edna Guidry 
Cheramie; and brothers, Alicide, Noel, Remis, Eugene, Ludwick "Billy," Edwin, 
Edville, Aziel "Yi Yie," and Howell Cheramie. 

Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
