Shirley Baradell Simmons, 74, a native of and a resident of Thibodaux, passed 
away Saturday, May 10, 2014.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at St. John the 
Evangelist Catholic Church Thibodaux, LA from 8:30am to service time. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am 

with the burial following in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church cemetery, 
Thibodaux.

She is survived by her three children, Edward Simmons, Jr.and wife Cathy, Diana 
S. Ordoyne and husband Rusty Sr., and Melanie S. Kraemer and husband Robert; 
sister, Marie Babin Templet; and grandchildren, Cameron and Philip Simmons, 
Rusty Ordoyne Jr., Brooke Kraemer Cortez and Brian Kraemer; and two great 
grandchildren, Cy and Liam Cortez.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Simmons Sr.; parents, Robert 
and Cecile Breaux Baradell; brothes and sisters, Charles, and Robert "Bob" 
Baradell, Rita Babin, Mildred Adams, and Rose Boudreaux.

She was a great cook and she also loved to play cards. She was a great mother, 
grand mother, and friend to all.

Thibodaux Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of Arrangements.
