Mabel Dufrene Thibodaux, 82, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose, died 
at 7:54 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Our Lady of the 
Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. 
Monday at the church, 

with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off. 

She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Carrie Daigle), Michael (Ola Danos), Chris 
Sr. (Terry Ledet), Brian (Robin Marcel), and Mark (Mary LeBoeuf) Thibodaux; 
daughters, Arlene (Darren) Borne and Dawn (Dwayne) Falgout; sister, Irma 
Dufrene Pennison Vedros; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin "Al" Thibodaux; and parents, 
Lawrence A. Dufrene and Melodia Dufrene Dufrene. 

Mabel was the loving wife of her husband, Al, for 49 years. She was an 
affectionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved family 
gatherings and was always the life of the party. 
She will be missed greatly. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
