Nora Hotard Thibodaux, 63, a native of Kraemer and resident of Thibodaux, 
passed away in her home at 10:05 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014. 

Nora will be dearly missed by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ralph Thibodaux; daughter, Jennifer 
Chiasson and husband, Patrick; sons, Gerard Thibodaux and wife, Tessie and 
Allen Thibodaux. She loved to spoil her grandchildren Jacob and Zach Scioneaux, 
Conner Chiasson, and Ricky and Julie Thibodaux. Among her many blessings were 
her great-grandchildren Brenden, Abrielle, Marlee, Justus and arriving this 
summer- -Ellie. 
Nora is also survived by her brothers, Lonie Hotard and wife, Kerry and Ricky 
Hotard and wife, Cheryl; sisters, Jane Cortez and husband, Roger, Joan Larousse 
and husband, Tracy, Oneida Cortez and husband, Manual, Carol Cortez and 
husband, Heddy, and Lucy Hotard. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Cecile Granier Hotard; and 
brothers, Clarence and Leonard "Frank" Hotard.

Some of her many enjoyments included reading, cross-stitching, genealogy 
research and collecting angels. Spending time with her family and friends is 
what she enjoyed most.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. James Chapel in Choctaw, 
LA.

The family would like to thank Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, Acadian 
Ambulance Service, and St. John Volunteer Fire Department for their quick 
response, care and compassion during our time of need.
