Munson Joseph Toups, Jr., 75, a native of Chopic and a resident of Chopic 
passed away on Thursday, May 08, 2014 at home.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 13, 2014 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor 
Catholic Church, Thibodaux, LA from 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial 
at 10:30 am. 

The burial will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Thibodaux,LA.

He was survived by his former wife and caregiver, Joyce Percle Toups; their 
daughter, Kyla Toups Clement and husband Troy A. Clement; his beloved 
grandchildren, Kolt Anthony and Kali Rose Clement; and their loving toy poodle 
Susie.
He was survived by his siblings, Janet T. Falcon, Donald Toups and wife Betty, 
Sandra T. Hebert and husband Bobby, and his brother in Law, Willis Tabor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Clement Toups and Munson J. 
Toups Sr. his nephew who he loved and helped raise like a son, Ferrel Percle, 
sister Jane T. Tabor, and Loretta T. Granier and husband Authur.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a proud Paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne 
Division and a Honorary Rock of the 1st Airborne Battle Group of the 503rd 
Infantry. He was an avid hunter and sportsman who enjoyed ever opportunity to 
be outdoors.

The family would like to thank his former caregiver Susie Gibson, current 
caregiver Achsah Chiasson, and St. Joseph Hospice and nurses.
