He was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 9:00AM until 12:30PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1:00PM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, Sons: Kenneth Trahan Sr., Horace J. Trahan, Morris J. Trahan, Richard P. Trahan, Daughters: Judy T. Naquin and husband David, and Barbara "Bobbie" Naquin, Son-In-Law: Frank Naquin, Grandchildren: Mark Naquin, Craig Naquin, Shawn Naquin, Felicia Naquin, Kenneth Trahan Jr., Todd Trahan, Amy Lebouef, Great Grandchildren: Tristen Naquin, Ethan Naquin, Zoe Naquin, Daniel Ledet, and Allie Ledet and five other great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, Spouse: Eunice Trahan, Parents: Luma John Trahan and Augustine Authement Trahan Brothers: Morris Trahan, Levis Trahan, Davis Trahan, Nicholas Trahan Sisters: Rosalie Gautreaux, Rebecca Leboeuf, Doris Bergeron. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Horace was a WWII veteran, serving four years in the United States Army. He retired from Cenac Towing Company after twenty five years.
