Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2014/f1405.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Craig Edward Wade, 51, born Oct. 12, 1962, in Plattsburgh, New York, and currently a resident of Topeka, Kansas, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014, after a year-long battle with cancer. A memorial ceremony will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Dove Funeral Services at 4020 S.W. Sixth Avenue in Topeka, Kansas. He is survived by his daughters, Erica Duthu, of Houma, and Alissa Wade, of Oakdale; granddaughter, Camberly Duthu, of Houma; siblings, Chere Shaw, of Palm Bay, Florida, Denise Hart and David Wade, of Topeka, Kansas, and Darin Wade, of Lawrence, Kansas; three nephews; one niece; three great-nephews; three great- nieces; and special friend, Vickie Maricle, of Oakdale. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Patricia Pierce Wade. Craig attended Topeka High School in Kansas and was a chef for various restaurants, most recently the Celtic Fox. Craig lived in south Louisiana for many years as a cook, returning to Topeka, Kansas, in 2002. He was a lover of outdoors and couldn't go without listening to his favorite bands, Chicago, The Eagles, Toto, Foreigner or KC and the Sunshine Band. "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Revelation 21:4) Dove Funeral Services in Topeka, Kansas, is in charge of arrangements. ======================
