Hazel Trosclair Babin, 84, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away at 
11:50 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at her residence.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and 
from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in 
Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church cemetery in Raceland.

She is survived by her husband, Alcide "Buck" Babin Jr.; son, Kenneth Babin 
Sr.. and wife, Bettlyn; daughter, Debra Babin Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Tina 
Babin; grandchildren, Brandy, Kenneth Jr., Rocoe, Chrissy, and Jacob; and 
great-grandchildren, Makalay, Lexie, Triton, Kade, Izyck, Hayden, Haze, and 
Cohen.

She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Babin; brother, Gregory Trosclair; 
and sister, Lois Naquin.

Hazel loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
