Georgette Guidry Guidroz, 90, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed 
away on Friday, June 13, 2014.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on 
Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian 
Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. 

with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine "Gerry" Naquin Cedotal and husband 
Randy; grandson, Todd Naquin and wife Lori Duet Naquin; great granddaughters, 
Marcelle Naquin, Madeline Naquin, Meredith Naquin; brother, Melvin Guidry; 
sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and godchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Paul A. Guidroz; 
father, Charles Guidry; mother, Clemence Terrebonne Guidry; son, Gary Paul 
Guidroz; brothers, Ludovic Guidry, Leno Guidry, Nolan Guidry, C.J. Guidry, 
Stanley Guidry.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

She was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette, Kaycee Auxiliary, Ladies of 
LaSalette Alter Society, Louisiana Volunteers for Family and Community, Inc., 
Red Hat Ladies of Golden Meadow.

Georgette was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time 
with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed outings with her lady 
friends.

The family would to extend their appreciation to the staffs of The Suites at 
Sugar Mill Point, Haydel Memorial Hospice, The Broadway, Compass and her 
special caregivers.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
