Dave Johnson Jr., 67, a resident of Morgan City, died at 1:16 a.m. Sunday, June 
15, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Morgan City. The Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Friday at 
the church followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m., 

with burial in Morgan City Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife, Lelia Marie Johnson, of Morgan City; sons, Rodney 
Michael Johnson, of Kansas City, Missouri, Kevin Paul (Roishene) Johnson, of 
Shreveport, and Dave Johnson III, of Arlington, Texas; brother, O'Neil J. 
(Gwen) Johnson, of Morgan City; stepbrother, Robert (Theresa) Russell, of 
Lafayette; two granddaughters; and one grandson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave Johnson Sr. and Adline Johnson. 

Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
