Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, June 20, 2014 from 8:30am until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her six children, Josephine "Jo Anne" Junot Richard of Florida, Hewitt "Phil" Junot of Gray, Dr. Mary Junot of Houma, Patrick Michael "Mike" Junot of Lafayette, Elizabeth "Liz" Junot Robichaux of Houma, and Joseph "Joe" Junot of Mississippi. She is also survived by one sister, Nellie Giblaint of Alabama; 12 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Hewitt P. "Jack" Junot, three grandchildren, Mary Jo Richard, Bryan Arceneaux, and Jame Richard; her parent, Francis O. Bourg and Josephine Charpentier Bourg; sisters, Augustine Bourg Taylor and Beulah Bourg Toups, and brothers, Robert "Bobby" Bourg, Frances "T-Mon" Bourg, Lawrence "Larry" Bourg, and Bennie Bourg. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral . Josephine graduated from St. Francis de Sales Academy in 1938 at which time she was salutatorian of her class and was awarded the American Legion Medal. She attended USL where she majored in education. She was a past President and Charter Member of the Theresians (Anawins). She received the Archbishop's Medal for her dedication and work for the Catholic Church from Archbishop Philip Hannan and the Bishop's medal from Bishop Warren Boudreaux in 1984 for the Houma-Thibodaux Diocese. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made in her name to St. Francis d Sales Cathedral School or Vandebilt Catholic High School ======================
