He was a native of Lockport, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 10:30am to 12:00pm at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 12:00pm at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, Spouse of forty-eight years: Dot Kraemer of Houma LA, Son: Rickie Kraemer and wife Sherry Kraemer of Gray LA, Daughters: Melissa Hagen and husband Dr. David Hagen, M.D. of Houma LA, Ann Earwood and husband Billy Sr. of Mississippi, and Linda Robinson and husband Jeff of Texas, Brother: Gene Kraemer of Houma LA, Sisters: Lorraine Ledet of Houma LA, Rosalie Day of Thibodaux LA, Mary Dean Kraemer of Raceland LA,and Cynthia Kraemer of Raceland LA, and Grandchildren: Krystal Tipton and husband Jeff and great grandson Nathan, Cesalie and Joshua LeBoeuf, Stephen, David Lee, Andrew, Eli and Benjamin Hagen, Justin, Hunter, Sarah, Alexander, Beaux, Marc Christina, Lee, Brandi and Kenneth Kreamer, Joshua Robinson, Billy Earwood Jr.,and Paula Graves. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Aurelian Kraemer Sr. and Helena Bourg Kraemer 1st Wife: Bertie Trahant Kraemer Sons: Willard John Kraemer Jr., and Barry James Kraemer, Brothers: Aurelian Kraemer Jr., Howard Kraemer, Stanley Kraemer, and Steven Kraemer,and Sister: Vesta Perkins. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was self employed at Kraemer "No Job Too Small" as a contractor and carpenter for over thirty years. He also worked at Norman's Clothing Store, and Hanaman's Shoe Department where he was known as "Kraemer the Tamer". He was a veteran of the United States National Guard and was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus at Saint Francis De Sales Cathedral. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Jules Dupont, Dr. Gerald Haydel, Dr. Raul Doria, and Hospice Of South Louisiana. He was a unique, caring, compassionate, and a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He loved to travel with family and friends to one of his favorites places, Walt Disney World. He was a skilled carpenter who with his long time helper, Richard Bradley, III, served the people of Terrebonne and Lafourche Parish for over thirty years.
