She was a native and resident of Montegut, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 9:00AM until service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Marc Weems Sr. and wife Barbara (Bobbie Sue), Keith Kurtz and wife Michelle, Thomas Kurtz and companion Kim Spence; daughter, Kayla Kurtz Cadiere and husband Jack; sister, Ruth Pinell; sister in law, Marion Kurtz; ten grandchildren, Marc Weems Jr., Missy Weems Naquin and husband Bobby, Mandy Weems Eisner, Joshua Kurtz and wife Elizabeth, Kristen Kurtz, Brad Kurtz and wife Brittany, Katie Kurtz Higgins and husband Chris, Lauren Kurtz Bergeron and husband Phillip, Seth Cadiere and Lexi Cadiere; and eleven great grandchildren, Trey Weems, Macy Weems, Destiny Naquin, Bobby Naquin Jr., Brittnay Naquin, Trent Eisner, Whitney Eisner, Alexis Eisner, Eli Kurtz, Emmi Kurtz, and Jonas Bergeron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Kurtz; parents, Galton and Maude Hebert LeBoeuf; her father in law and mother in law, Harold Kurtz Sr. and Agnes Levron Kurtz; her brother in laws, Elce Pinell and Harold Kurtz. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. June was a gym supervisor for Montegut Recreation District 6 for many years. She was also a past member of the Bonne Terre Carnival Club and a Montegut Lioness. She was a passionate Saints fan. The family would like to thank Dr. Abou-Issa and staff and Journey Hospice. We especially express sincere gratitude to her caregivers: Ms. Barbara Bruce, Mary Parfait, and Patsy Gallagher. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. ======================
