Visitation will be held on Monday at Falgout Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Gary John Martin; daughters, Anne M. Tramontana, Catherine M. McLain and husband Philip; brother, Lincoln Martin, Sr.; half brothers, Donald Martin, Aramise Martin, Jr.; sister, Lucille M. Gillenwater; half sister, Ruth Pitre; step sister, Mildred "Nunun" C. Martin; grandchildren, Chad Martin, Michael Martin, Christy Martin, Jenica T. Walker, Bethany N. Tramontana, Kristen M. St. Pierre, Matthew McLain; great grandchildren, Hayden Martin, Joel Martin, Liam Martin, Eden Martin, Ethan Martin, Nicholas Martin, Gianna Walker, Jeffrey Walker, Broc McLain, Lennox St. Pierre. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elmire Danos Martin; father, Aramise Martin, Sr.; mother, Angelina Angelette St. Pierre; son, Michael John Martin; son-in-law, Ralph C. Tramontana; brothers, Uderick "To To" J. Martin, Lindbergh J. Martin, Stanley Martin; step brother, Johnnie "Nookie" Cheramie; sisters, Bertha M. Williams, Lucia M. St. Pierre; half sister, Bernice "Tip" Arriaga; grandson, Riley Scout Tramontana; great grandson, Michael James Martin. He was a commercial fisherman and a carpenter. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, cooking, eating and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed working his roadside produce stand. He was a loving and generous man.
