Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Luke Cemetery. He is survived by his parents, Henry and Linda May; son, Jordon May; daughters, Jasmine and Ava May; and sister, Jindia May Blount and husband, Donnell. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nathaniel and Susie Marshall. Juan was a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a captain at Harvey Gulf International Marine. Juan was a 1987 graduate of Terrebonne High School and he attended the University of New Orleans. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Operation Desert Storm. He was an upstanding citizen and a pillar in his community. He was a devout Christian, loyal friend, devoted and loving brother, and wonderful son. He was also a loving and generous father. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
