Ricky Kent Melancon, 55, a native of Houma and resident of Napoleonville, died 
at 1:05 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at First United 
Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.

He is survived by his father, Ray Paul Melancon; brothers, Michael R. and wife, 
Carolyn, and Randy P. and wife, Cathleen Melancon; and sister, Penny and 
husband, Remy Daignault.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Janice Johnson Melancon.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
