Visitation will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Michael S. Pierson and wife Lady; daughter, Ronna Pierson Bulera; brother, Richard Poe; sisters, Ruth Poe Edenhart, Linda Poe Sunder; grandchildren, Michael J. Bulera and wife Carol, Deborah Bulera, Jason Bulera; great grandson, Michael Jared Bulera. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Reverend Roland S. Pierson; father, Stephen B. Poe; mother, Grace Blair Poe; brother, Dale Poe; sisters, Elaine Poe, Fern Poe Driver. She was a member of the Associates of the Sisters of the Holy Nativity, Episcopal Women of St. John's Episcopal Church. She served in the U.S. Women's Army Corp. during World War II.
