Melvin William Robinson, 82, a native of Ontario and a resident of Thibodaux, 
LA for 40 years passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 9:00 AM till 
funeral time at First Presbyterian in Thibodaux. Religious services will take 
place at 11:00 AM at the church.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Anderson Robinson; sons, Dean 
Robinson, Bruce and Juanita Robinson; sisters, Valerie Desserre, Candice 
Kilbreath, and Marlene Robinson; brothers, Clifford, Leonard and Bill Robinson; 
grandchildren, Brady and Giselle Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leslie Robinson and Nora Fosso 
Robinson; sisters, Ione and Margaret Robinson; brothers, Patrick, Dwight and 
Maxie Robinson.

He was a 57 year Mason, Walter Irving Lanier Lodge 307. He worked as a dredge 
captain for 40 years. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
