Cora Ross, 57, A native of Gibson, LA died on Monday, June 19, 2014 at Leonard 
Chabert Medical Center at 6:40a.m. 

Services will be held at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson, LA on Saturday, 
June 21, 2014. Visitation from 9a.m until funeral time at 2:00p.m. 

with burial at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church cemetery in Gibson. 

She is survived by sons, Jeremy Shelvin of Japan, Treymone Williams of 
Thibodaux, LA and stepson, Clayton Williams of Houma, LA. Two daughters, 
Rasheeda Shelvin and Nicole Williams of Gibson, LA. Brothers, Robert and James 
L. Ross of Gray, LA and Elijah Ross III of Lafayette, LA. Sisters, Bettie L. 
Williams of Marrero, LA, Donna M. Johnson and Carrie White of Gibson, LA and 
seven grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Gertrude Ross. Daughters, 
Cantrelle Shelvin and stepdaughter, Ellestine Williams Wesley. One stepson, 
Cortney J. Williams and brother, Louis James Ross.
