Barbara Sapia, 59, died Sunday, June 1, 2014. 
She was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 9:00 until service 
time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 
June 4, 2014 at 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. 

Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Whitney Sapia, Sr.; son, 
Whitney Sapia Jr.; daughter, Stacey Breaux and husband Cody; brothers, Walter 
Marcel Jr., Robert Marcel and wife Linda, Ronald Marcel Sr. and wife Melinda, 
Harry Marcel and wife Tammra; sisters, Gloria Luke and husband Peter, Betty 
Fonseca, Elaine LaChico and husband Douglas, Alice Sapia and husband Ernest, 
Mary Pitre and husband David, Jane Dupre and husband Faron; grandchildren, 
Kaylie Breaux, Kade Breaux, Austin Sapia, Andie Sapia, Ashton Sapia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Marcel Sr. and Kate Lebouef; 
brother in law, Claude "Johnny" Fonseca Jr.; sister in law, Diane Marcel.

She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly 
missed by all her loved ones.
