Leonise "Lou" Zeringue Waguespack, 102, a native of St. Charles community and 
resident of Schriever, died Thursday, June 26, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Christ the 
Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery in Raceland. 

She is survived by her sons, Ray Waguespack and wife, Velora, and Donald 
Waguespack and wife, Marilyn; brother, Norman Zeringue; loving grandchildren, 
Rachel W. Dugas, Robert Waguespack, and Christine W. Landry; great-
grandchildren, Cariline Dugas, Heather Waguespack, and Jude Waguespack; and 
great-great-grandchild, Brayden Fox. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius H. Waguespack; parents, 
Ferducie and Henrietta Dantin Zeringue; brothers, Ferducie Jr., O'Neal Sr., Guy 
Sr., Freddie, and David Zeringue; and sisters, Lillie Z. Ordogne and Agnes Z. 
Barrilleaux. 

Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
