Melvin Wilson, 70, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gibson, died 
Friday, June 20, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Mt. Pilgrim 
Baptist Church in Gibson. Funeral services will be at noon Thursday at the 
church, 

with burial in Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church cemetery in Gibson. 

He is survived by his brother, Thomas Wilson, of Gibson; and sister, Delores 
Wilson, of Houma. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rebecca Robinson Wilson and Ernest 
Wilson Sr.; sisters, Elnora Wilson Mosely and Irabelle Wilson; and brothers, 
Ernest Jr., Sterling, Merlin, and Robert Louis Wilson, and Rufus Fredrick. 

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
