Lorraine Thibodaux Adams, 83, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Saturday, July 12, 2014.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 
Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. to funeral time on Thursday, July 17, 
2014 at St Joseph Co-Cathedral Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of 
Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m 

with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her daughter Christine Adams; son Andrew Adams Jr. and wife 
Deborah; two sisters, Beatrice Benoit and Hazel Cole; one brother Johnny 
Thibodaux; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-
great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Adams Sr.; parents, Alcee 
Thibodaux and Marie Gilfour Thibodaux; two sons, Michael Adams and Keith Adams; 
two sisters, Verna Portier and Gloria Bourgeois; and one brother, Jessie 
Thibodaux.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
