Cecilia Folse Barrilleaux, 85, a native of Raceland and resident of Houma, died 
at 6:05 a.m. Friday, July 4, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Bernadette 
Catholic Church. A memorial service and Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the 
church. 

Cecilia is survived by her children, Laynie Barrilleaux, of Thibodaux, Lauren 
Henry (Danny), of Bourg, Tina Bown, of Houma, and Kenny Barrilleaux Jr., of 
Houma; brothers, Donald, Kenneth, and L.J. Folse; grandchildren, Daniel Henry 
Jr., Brandon Henry, Ashley Henry, Emily Pizzolatto, Kayla Pizzolatto Folse, 
Hunter Bown, Elizabeth Bown, Cameron Barrilleaux, and Whitney Garland; and 
great-grandchildren, Cullen Verdin, Allayna Folse, and Kendall Henry. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Barrilleaux; daughter, 
Melissa Barrilleaux; sons, Brent and Eric Barrilleaux; parents, Leondre and 
Celine Bye Folse; and sisters, Myrtis Smith, Vera Wallis, and Ouida Folse. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Nicholls 
State University Foundation to establish a scholarship in her memory at P.O. 
Box 2066, Thibodaux, LA 70310, or to St. Louis Infant Center, P.O. Box 2866, 
Houma, LA 70361.
