Eve Himel Bonvillain, 85, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 8:36 a.m. 
Thursday, July 24, 2014. 

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. 
until funeral time Monday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux. 
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. 

She is survived by her daughters, Joel Landry and husband, Wayne, and Wendy 
Fremin; grandchildren, Dana Bonvillain Aucoin, of Thibodaux, Kai Landry and 
wife, Roxanne, of Thibodaux, Dean Bonvillain Jr. and wife, Cassie, of 
Thibodaux, and Leslie, Derek, and Andrew Bonvillain of Luling; brother, Joseph 
Himel, of Thibodaux; daughter-in-law, Robin Bonvillain, of Luling; eight great-
grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Euzelien "E.J." Bonvillain; parents, 
Lydia Duet and Ferdinand Himel; son, Dean Bonvillain Sr.; ex-son-in-law, Edward 
"Joe" Fremin; and an infant brother and sister. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
