Bouffanie, 58, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Meagan Danos and her son, Marcus Rainey; son, Dean Plaisance; brother, Louis H. Bouffanie; sisters, Coreen Pitre and husband, Larry, and Doreen LeBouef and husband, Ray; godchildren, Tony Bouffanie Jr. and Justin Bruce; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his longtime friend, Becky Danos; parents, Ernest Bouffanie Sr. and Josephine G. Bouffanie; brothers, Ernest Bouffanie Jr., Russell "Salvador" Bouffanie and Anthony "Tony" Bouffanie Sr.; and sisters, Suzanne Bouffanie and Cathy Bouffanie. Kelly enjoyed shrimping, deer hunting, fishing and loved nature and being outdoors. He was an employee of Crosby Tugs. He captained offshore tugs and traveled all over the world. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements. ======================
