Dorothy Caillouet, 92, was born on November 4, 1921 and passed away on July 15, 
2014. 
She was a native of Thibodaux and resident of Schreiver.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Christ the Redeemer 
Catholic Church from 8:30 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will take place at 11:00 AM 

with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Charleston Benoit Jr., Dorothy Ann Woodward, 
Anna Mae Stevens, Donald Benoit and wife Judy, Francis Benoit and wife Nita, 
Ricky Benoit Sr., and Peter Benoit and wife Mary; brother, Earl Guidry; 22 
grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren, and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Charleston 
Hector Benoit and previous husbands, Peter Richard, Lincoln Lassere, and Aaron 
Caillouet Sr. She is also preceded in death by her son, Gerald Benoit; parents, 
Sidney and Laura Guidry; grandchildren, Chad, Brian, and Jerry Benoit;great 
grandchild, Deven Tyler Blake; brothers and sisters, Sidney Guidry, E.J. 
Guidry, Lester Guidry, Prosper Guidry, Clebert "King" Guidry Sr., Bessie 
Gaudet, Iva Gros, Laura Toups, Edith Adams, Odette Bergeron, and Mabel 
Bergeron.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
