Chris Joseph "Joe" Chaisson, 48, a native and resident of Houma, died Sunday, 
June 29, 2014. 

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Houma at 4863 
W. Park Ave. in Houma. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the 
church. 

He is survived by his siblings, Connie Chauvin and husband, Andy, Rebecca 
Chaisson and companion, Ira Matherne, Rachel Guzman and husband, Tommy, and 
Stuart Chaisson; nephews and nieces, Bryan Landry and wife, Katie, Joshua 
Landry, Michelle Desmares, Sarah Guzman and T-Jay Guzman; and great-nieces and 
nephews, Kylie Nicole Landry, Jalen Winter, and Joshua Landry Jr. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Chaisson and Lucille 
Thibodeaux Chaisson; grandparents, Levi and Lillian Thibodeaux, and Nelson and 
Edna Dubois Chaisson. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to 
assist with funeral expenses. 

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
