Chouest, 46, a native and resident of Galliano, died Monday, July 14, 2014. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Galliano. He is survived by his wife, Mechelle Bouvier Chouest; parents, Noles "Butch" Chouest and Beverly Eymard Chouest; brother, Shane Chouest; sister, Chantel C. Pitre; daughter, Miley Bouvier; grandmother, Sarah Eymard; brothers-in-law, Brian Bouvier, Ferte Bouvier, Curtis Bouvier, and Marty Pitre; sisters-in-law, Angel Chouest, Christina Bouvier, and Mary Bouvier; nephews; Shane Chouest, Dillon Bouvier, Jayden Bouvier, Trevor Bouvier, Zachary Bouvier, and Justin Thompson; nieces, Olivia Pitre, Destiny Bouvier, and Amy Bouvier; friends, Sara Terrebonne and Donavan Terrebonne; and in-laws, Irwin Bouvier and Joyce Bouvier. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Collin Eymard and Joseph Chouest; grandmother, Ophelia Chouest; and mother-in-law, Helen Bouvier. Collin was a third and fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 3150. Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements. ======================
