Rita Hebert Clement, 91, passed away, July 21, 2014. 
She was a resident of Chackbay and native of Lafourche Crossing. 

Visitation will be from 8AM until funeral time Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Our 
Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 
10:30AM at the church, 

with burial to follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Guy W. Clement; daughters, Kathy 
Caperton, Karen Steib and husband William, and Kyla Diehl; brothers, Raymond, 
Gerald "Jay" and Larry Hebert; grandchildren, Gina, Jon and Jim Clement, Dr. 
Caroline Caperton, Guy and Ainsley Steib, Brooke and Matthew Diehl; 2 great-
grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a daughter-in-law, 
Maureen T. Clement.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kermit Clement; sisters, Gladys Gros and 
Irene Clements; brothers, Alton, Herman and Thomas Hebert.

The family would like to thank the physicians from the Family Doctor Clinic, 
Regional and Internal Medicine, C.I.S., Kidney Center of South LA, Dr. Roger 
Stueben, the staff of Thibodaux Regional Hospital, as well as Mrs. Gayle 
Williams.
