Judith Robert Duplantis, 76, passed away at home surrounded by her loving 
family Friday, July 18, 2014 at 08:45 PM. She was a native and resident of 
Chauvin, LA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 9:00 AM until Service 
time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 
Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Chauvin.

She is survived by her, loving husband of 57 years, Gerald Joseph Duplantis, 3 
Sons, Kendall and wife Carla of Bourg, Jay and wife Diane of Chauvin, Jed and 
wife Arlene of Porter, TX, 4 Daughters, Kimberly Chafin and husband James of 
Houma, Kellie Luke and companion Joseph Champagne of Chauvin, Jana Cavalier and 
husband Herbert, Jr of Chauvin, Kandi Singleton and husband Neal of Thibodaux, 
20 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, Sisters, Norma Thurman and husband 
Donald of Willis, Tx, Marilyn Ammons and husband Al of Miami, FL., Sisters in 
Law, Werlin Robert of Chauvin, Doris Robert of Houma, and Billie Ann Matherne 
and husband Terry of Chauvin and Brother in Law, Duffy Duplantis and wife Doris 
of Houma.

She was preceded in death by her, Parents, Theophile Robert and Hilda LeBlanc 
Robert, Father and Mother In Law, Duffy "Bill" Duplantis and Anna Mae Theriot 
Duplantis Grandson, Logan Naquin Chafin, Granddaughter, Dawn Luke, Son in Law, 
Douglas Luke, Sr, and Brothers, Gary Robert and Floyd Robert.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin.

Judith graduated from St. Francis de Sales in 1956. She worked for Dr. Del 
Britsch as a Dental Assistant for several years and she also worked at Pat's of 
Chauvin.

She and her husband traveled extensively throughout the United States and 
abroad.

Judith was an avid golfer and club champion. She loved to dance and had a 
beautiful voice, she was self taught on the guitar and keyboard. She was an 
excellent cook and she also taught religion for several years at her home.

Judith was a loving wife and mother, who loved her family and friends dearly. 
Her greatest joy was being around her family
