Louis "Bud" Joseph Ellender, Jr., 74, a native of Montegut and a resident of 
Pointe-Aux-Chenes, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

Visitation will be Friday, July 18, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Montegut 
Fire Station and Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11:00am at Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Survived by
Wife- Marcia Trosclair Ellender
Son- John Anthony Ellender and wife Kim
Daughters- Jill Ellender Fryou and husband Dale, Joy Theresa Ellender and 
Fiance Michael Scioneaux, and Eugenie Louise Ellender and companion Tiffany 
Marie Verdin
Step daughters- June Gilmore and husband Barry, Kami Trosclair
Sister- Marlene Ellender
Grandchildren- Alison Theriot, Matthew Gilmore, Katie McCarthy, Kelley Verdin, 
Amy Blanchard, Beau Blanchard, Christa Guillot, Zoe and Zayden Ellender
Great Grandchildren- 9

Preceded in death by
1st Wife- Jane Martin Ellender
Parents- Louis Joseph Ellender Sr. and Eugenie Dupre Ellender
Grandchild- Baby Boy Fryou

He was a member of the Montegut Lions Club, the Montegut Children's Carnival 
Club, Terrebonne Parish Coastal Rescue, and a former business owner. He has 
touched many lives with his sense of humor, now Bud will be amusing the angels 
in heaven.
