Beverly Ann Fontenot, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus 
Christ, at home surrounded by family and dedicated caregivers, Friday July 4, 
2014. 

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a celebration of her 
life at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly Church at 150 La. 3185 in Thibodaux 
with the Rev. John Skipworth officiating. 

Beverly donated her body to LSU Medical School. 

She is survived by her children, Joanna Hue and husband, Ernest, Tony Fontenot 
and wife, Julie, Esther Naquin and husband, Barry, Suzanne Menou and husband, 
Jules, and Thomas Fontenot and wife, Janie; grandchildren, Tessa and Nikki Hue, 
Amy Harper and Lee Fontenot, Chantel Clark and Angelle Molaison, Stephanie 
Whitfield and Philip Menou, and Kristina Thibodaux; and great-grandchildren, 
Payton, Mackenzie, Drake, Luke, Noah, Josie, Gabriel, Victoria, and Olivia. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Irvin Fontenot; her only 
sibling, Joy Rowland; and parents, Ozema and Theresa Fontenot. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's 
Research Hospital. Beverly and her husband had a passionate love for children, 
resulting in faithful contributions to this organization.
