James "Jim" Goodwin, 54, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away 
Saturday, July 19, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday 
at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph cemetery in Thibodaux. 

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 20 years, Theresa Martinez; 
parents, Mac and Barbara Goodwin; daughters, Jaeda Goodwin Crosby and husband, 
"Pat"; step-daughters, Melissa "Missy" Norris, and Jennifer "Jenny" Dantzler 
and husband, Bryan; brothers, Kerry Goodwin, Jeff Goodwin and wife, Tammy, and 
Kevin Goodwin and wife, Wendy; sister, Cynthia Goodwin Lee; grandchildren, 
Austin Norris, Brianna Norris, and Michael Dantzler, Andrew "Dew Baby" 
Dantzler, Sydney Hotard, and Logan "Knucklehead" Hotard; and numerous nieces 
and nephews. 

Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
