Patricia Francis Edwards Mack passed away at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014. 

The Lord called upon one of his own to transition for a world of sorrow, 
sadness, and sickness to a place of eternal rest. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of the 
Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. The Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. 
Saturday at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the church, 

with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Cut Off. 

She is survived by her sons, Ronald and Donald Mack, of Larose; daughters, 
Peggy Mack Elzy and husband, Joseph, of Raceland, Pearl Mack, of Terrytown, 
Beatrice Mack, of Galliano, and Penny Mack, of Larose; brothers, Joseph Edwards 
Jr. and wife, Mable, of Larose, Lou J. Edwards and wife, Vera, Henry Edwards, 
of Los Angeles, California, John Edwards and wife, Ollie, of Long Beach, 
California, Dr. Larry J. Edwards and wife, Audrey, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and 
Charles H. Edwards and wife, Brenda, of Greensville, South Carolina; sisters, 
Marie and Judie Edwards, of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Jonathan Mack, of 
Cut Off, Sterling Mack, of Evanston, Wyoming, Jovan Mack, of Larose, Jorgio 
Mack and wife, Alexis, of Raceland, Joleen Mack, of Raceland, Jontue Mack, of 
Las Vegas, Nevada, Jazmin Mack, of Larose, Chad Davis and Ebony Tiller, of 
Raceland, Larry Mack, of Larose, Jennifer Mack, Margaret Elzy, and Joseph Elzy 
Jr., of Raceland, and Terry and Kerry Wheaton, of Larose; great-grandchildren, 
Tremaine Mack and Destany Shelby, of Larose, Tristian Mack, of Houma, Amauree 
Mack, of Evanston, Wyoming, Cemiyen Adams, of Raceland, Jorgio Mack Jr., of 
Houma, and Lillana Marie Mack, of Las Vegas, Nevada. 

On Feb. 20, 1931, in Opelousas, Patricia Francis Edwards was born to Joseph 
Edwards Sr. and Felma Brown Edwards. Patricia Edwards later joined Murriel Mack 
Jr. in a union of holy matrimony to become Mrs. Patricia Edwards Mack, a wife, 
mother, grandmother, and genuine friend. 

She was affectionately known to many as "Mama Pat." 

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
